Venom GT: On 3 Performance Turbo Build

The day has finally come for me to get boosted... Parts have already begun arriving and all should be here by Monday, and installation will start on Tuesday, May 25th.

I would like to thank my new, very good friends over at Amped Speedlab (Tom & AJ) for hooking it up with the On 3 Performance Turbo Kit. I would advise anyone that needs ANY parts, please, do not hesitate to call them.

Just got back from the powdercoating shop, and they're out dry of the ceramic coating. Looks like I'm going to have to wait to get all the hotside powdercoated and will be putting this kit on exactly the way Chad intended it to be.

Who is Chad? Well, since you work down the street from, I think a Demo test drive is in order when it's all said and done, lol!!!! So more track time soon huh?

lol Chad is the designer of the kit, I am working directly with him and my sponsors over at Amped Speedlab to do a true research test on this kit for a car that has to do it all. Any modifications that may be made to the kit will be done on my car first, and then if all seems well, he will make the adjustments on all his kits and sell them with the corrections.

And yes, of course you can have a test drive when it's all said and done!

So will BBR still do the tuning? That's cool that your car will be sponsored by them, you do have quite a bit of upgrades so it's a good base for them plus the fact that your ride is a DD which in my book will def. put that kit to the test. Who is doing the install? I can't wait to see some cars get murdered at the track, yes including mine but atleast it's by another stang.

Longtubes came off last night and the car is pretty much apart lol. I will post up pics as soon as I get a chance. I'm also picking up the hot side during my lunch break, so the install will begin in a few hours!

So are you doing this by yourself?

No dade county customs is doing it for me... When the price is right and the people are great, then they get my business

Some updates...

Picked up the hotside today:


Stock manifolds were put back on today, I made an attempt at using that high temp black paint for headers which I thought was decent at best:


I'll get a pick up in the daytime with the flash off, but I also polished the f*** out of the turbo and had the exhaust housing of the turbo jet hot coated as well:


And finally, just before I left the shop, they started installing some of the hotside piping to check for fitment, which all worked out like a charm I might add:
